Lauri lives in Mebane and is proud to be a part of Destination Downtown. She believes that art is therapeutic and completely personal. With the right guidance, everyone can be successful and have a great time! Creating art together is an intimate group experience that offers all a chance to unwind and get inspired. Sessions are varied and offer instruction in Batik (wax resist/fabric dying), watercolors, pottery (both hand-built and wheel thrown) glass/enamel painting, jewelry making, printmaking, and and paper making, as well as the popular canvas painting parties.
